IN A FEW WORDS

I was very young when I found out that I love cinema.

It vibrates in a way that resonates strongly within me.

Trying to understand the origins of Man's emotions and how they are expressed physically and intellectually brings me to my first choice of practice, that of the Actor.

Acting, Being and Doing, becomes the energy of my search.

The Will to find balance and independence drives me on.

I choose A-Level Theater studies, and am then selected to join a three-year actor training course at the "Théâtre National de Bretagne" (TNB).

At twenty-one years old, my time at the TNB had developed the qualities and capacities needed to start work as an actress.

Claude Régy is the first to choose me for a project, giving me access to a continuation of what I'm exploring and doing on stage.

Then follows five years of work on stages throughout the world, the "Usine C" in Montreal, "De Singel" in Belgium, "La Comédie de Genève" in Geneva, the "Théâtre National Populaire" and the TNB again, as well as the Paris theaters of "Paris Vilette", "Nanterre-Amandier" and the "Odéon"...

I had come a long way on the road of learning to be an Actor, and, looking deep within myself, I decide it's time for me to go back to that earliest vibration : Cinema.

At twenty-six, I leave the stage for the film set.

Kim Massee gives me my first experience of film acting. What had long seemed self-evident becomes reality.

Acting for the camera is a passion. Young children's intuitions are often right, and twenty years later, though equipped with a deepening knowledge,  I realize in a very simple and profound way how much I want to be a cinema Actress.

At this point, being seen and visible in this new environment proves itself to be extremely difficult. Despite my career in theater acting, doors seem to be closed shut in my face. I quickly realize how watertight the milieu actually is, and this leads me to go my own way to meet the directors I feel a connection too.

This path may seem harder, but as I tread it daily it gets clearer along with my understanding of the world. As I have always know the kind of people I want to work with and why, it's the best way for me to be in harmony with myself.

Now almost thirty, I say Yes to writing and directing a short film, "A Fleur de Peau" ("Skin-Deep") in which I also act. I take a delicious dive into creating that which I love the most. The space and the moment, entering into all the things that give birth to the made-up alchemy of cinema. The bringing out of inner landscapes and rhythms made into matter. An infinitely spellbinding art form.

The way I see it, what brings out the best in a being is our ability to MAKE things. Self-development and the evolution that it creates is a central part of my life.

Along with trusting my own strengths and initiatives, I strive to follow Paths that suit me and work towards developing Body, Heart and Spirit. Some of these Paths are Aïkido, Iaïdo (Art of the Japanese Sword), Jodo (Way of the Jo Staff), Horse riding, Réïki and Kototama (meditation). Piano and Yoga are also things that I do in the same frame of mind. I love living in the moment and perceiving I exist ; the Unity that is born in me from self-knowledge and self-control.

These Paths through which I touch upon humility, power, precision, intuition, letting-go and Enlightenment are precious to me. My essence explores them and breathes them. This is where I find the spring from which flow Independence and Liberty.

Immersed in this richness of Being I love to work and create, on stages and film sets.

Kim Massee me procure cette première expérience.
